Kawa Pilipinas is a community kitchen dedicated to combating hunger in the Philippines by providing hot, nutritious meals to homeless individuals and to those in need.Founded in August 2020 by advocate and activist Mae Paner, the organization has served over 370,000 meals to date.Kawa Pilipinas operates with the belief that food is a powerful expression of love, aiming to nourish both the body and soul of its beneficiaries, whom they affectionately call “beloveds.”Through partnerships with organizations like the Jollibee Group Foundation and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Kawa Pilipinas continues to expand its reach and impact in addressing food insecurity.
